Are hair loss visits to the derma covered by health insurance?I would assume no, since it's cosmetic. Please share your experience.

If you come from the US, it totally depends on your insurance. There is no rule, just their custom.

It depends, but id say most of the time yes. The derm will check for moles that could be cancerous as well since they know more about skin that doctors.So partly cosmetic, but sometimes a cosmetic thing can turn into more. Its not that black and white
The treatments for sure you will be paying for if they are cosmetics.
