Am 24 year old.So my story is that i started minoxidil 5% end of April. I shaved my head completely to see results closely. I started seeing increase of thickness in the 4 month and my head filled quite good.Also my mustache darkened a lot which kinda a good thing.
Now in the end of my 5th month.The last two weeks exactly, i started noticing hair loss about 50 hairs a day. and my hair lost its thickness and am freaking out tbh. Is it common for minoxdil users to experience hair loss after 5 months? or is it because my hair is getting longer it is more prone to fall out. my hair loss is mostly in the sides and a bit in the middle-front.
Am even thinking of adding propecia. Although it caused me libido problems and my urologist told me to stop it just to be safe after 2 weeks only. He says he describes to people who suffer from high libido. However, i used SSRI anti-depressants for 4 months for anxiety and it could be the reason for my lower libido. But again stopping propecia was just to be on the safe side. My libido is too fine now
