Hi,

I have been thinking about buying a hair laser from ebay but not sure if they are crap or not?

Has anyone heard of the seller "laser-max" on ebay?

Just want to make sure they are the correct type of lasers that have been FDA approved for helping with hair loss and not a scam.

Here is a link to one of the products.

Thanks for any help.

You might as well buy this one because it's going to do you about as much good as buying the real Laser Max laser comb or whatever. The comb was not FDA approved for helping with hair loss. It was FDA approved for Safety, meaning that it is safe to use. It has not been proven to regrow any hair and in fact, when Dr. Rassman, a respected transplant surgeon, looked at the data from the company, he concluded that people actually LOST hair while using the laser comb. Do yourself a favor and look at a better treatment instead of some overnight magic wand.

"I am comfortable saying that I am one of the world’s experts in hair densitometry. I can prove this as I am the inventor of this technology and hold the U.S. Patent on the instruments used by HairMax (or Lexington International) to demonstrate their findings (see: USPTO.gov). With that being said, I reviewed our findings and agree with our counts. I believe that HairMax’s photos do not show any objective evidence of hair growth on the first two sets of data and that the numbers that they derived do not correspond to the assessments made by us. Lots of good hype if you’re into it."

-Rassman

If it really grew 19 hairs per square cm then everyone on this site would be using it. It doesn't.

Thanks for the replies.

I was skeptical of the lasers but figured I would give it a shot. But after JayMan's post I am thinking it may be a waste of money after all.

I should just bite the bullet and take finasteride or dutasteride. Just a bit uneasy about the side effects some report with 5AR inhibitors.

Guess that leaves me with transplants or a razor!

yes he must be in pfizer's pocket as well because he also encourages rogaine. and he sells propecia at his office AT COST. For no profit. As a service to his patient. he is an ethical doctor. you are just a poster bitter about your failed transplant. please bug off.
did you stop to think that maybe he encourages those two treatments because they actually WORK?

As for my hair transplant im booked in to get it fixed in three weeks with another well respected surgeon, Its going to cost me 3 grand to fix what that sl*t Dr martinick did , But for now i just use covere to cover the bad parts , So ill be set very soon. But you will still be here trolling the foums 24/7, So jayman dont think i get cut when you mention my failed transplant, It just shows what a low little unsocialised maggot you are , And everyone in your beloved forum can see that...
