i noticed today when I shed hairs that my hair is thicker at the root and is white where as the ends are thinner

I have heard before this is a bad sign - is this always the case? I've been on propecia for one month which is to soon to see results but is there any chance this is a good thing ?

Your hair grows from the roots. That's actually a good sign. Currently I'm off treatments but when I was on finasteride+minoxidil I shed some hairs that were ridiculously thin half inch hairs at the tips and got very nice and thick at the root.

Started suffering back in December from head pressures that literally last all day. Unknowing what, why, how those head pressures drove me insane and lead to panick attacks and anxiety on nearly basis. I had to eliminate many things step by step until eventually I said f*** it as my well being as much more important than hair and I cut out everything I was taking and supplementing and changed my nutrition completely. The bad news is I'm still suffering from head pressures so I'm assuming it was nothing related to finasteride/minoxidil/oral castor oil/alpicort f/endless vitamin supplement list after all. But as for the moment I don't wanna go on treatments until I feel better. I've already done a lot of check ups and the only one left is an MRI scan for my head next week. I also used to be pretty built around 220lbs and now I'm 195lbs, feeling skinny af.
But ya, I used to b**ch that finasteride+minoxidil wasn't doing anything but it took a long time maybe at least 6-8 months but eventually my hair was looking better than ever. Now it's literally worse than ever being off meds *sigh*.

my friend was suffering from head pressures a while ago. He wasn't on any medications but he went through a period of anxiety spending thousands on doctors trying to find the reason. Whenever he explained it he couldnt do so in a way that made me understand exactly what it was, only that he had this pressure feeling in his head. Interesting that you are also suffering. I wonder if its caused by anxiety.
