Alrite so my hair seems to be doing well. I had very rapid thinning and shedding for about 3 months or so, and I wasnt sure if it was male pattern baldness or telogen effluvium. I didnt use anything other than nizoral shampoo 2 % once every 3 days to help with my dandruff, and hopefully it was just a Telogen Effluvium phase and I wont shed again

Anyway, my body hairs are easily pulled aswell. I'm not even CLOSE to being hairless, and since this has been going on for 3 months, im hoping that drives away any chance of alopecia unviversalis? Whats bothering me now is that I see a little empty spot on my beard. Not sure if those hairs havent grown yet(havent shaved for a week), or this spot will grow bigger, or what it is. AND, hairs in general take MUCH longer to grow. I know it isnt always a bad thing, but I dont understand why this is happening. Hairs on my pubes, the back of my neck, my face, etc.

I've attached pics of my hair, and a a pic of that spot on my beard. Bare in mind that it shows more in real than with the camera. I know it isnt a huge deal right now, but i'm just afraid it gets worse. See for yourself how there are less hairs in that spot, and this was NOT an issue previously. Comments are appreciated, and thank you

There's some daylight at your crown that looks more consistent with male pattern baldness than Telogen Effluvium. Only a biopsy by a Derm can confirm this, though. I was under the impression Telogen Effluvium was patchy, and included the sides of hair as well, not the diffuse kind of male pattern baldness-specific loss you're showing. I'm not familiar with an associated body hair loss though, and it might just be coincidental.

I'd recommend spending the $ on a biopsy by a Derm to confirm the type of hair loss, so the appropriate treatments can be started early.
