Oh wow damn :( ... do you think I should jump on rogaine/regain?
You should hop on rogaine as well as finasteride if you want to keep what you have

Edit: also, if you’re insecure about the balding patch, toppik works WONDERS. I use it myself

Do you think longer hair on top is better or smaller like mine is at the moment?

What hair style do you rock?

And thanks for the information.

My hair looks like complete sh*t and I’m long overdue on a haircut lmao. Little nervous to see the extent of my thinning with shorter hair. I think the best go to style for thinning hair is longer on top and shorter sides/back

No it’s male pattern baldness if the crown is thinning out which is your case. How’s your hairline? Is male pattern baldness prominent in your family? Also yeah you should start medication.

Hair line is fine, it hasn't really changed. It doesn't seem to be receding.

Main problem is the crown and also thinning from the hair on top :(

I started rogaine, hopefully it helps :( :(

Sucks.

Also yes my older brother has it, I think both my dad and grandad also have it .

If you got that good hairline you should buzz your head to draw attention away from your thinning crown

Well I have the opposite problem. I have a strong crown with no loss whatsoever but my temples have receded a bit and my forehead is naturally bigger than average so it looks way worse. Keep strong man.

Dude, bad diet, lack of nutrients is all BS. In men, 99% times it is male pattern baldness. Also Finasteride is the real thing.
For the hair style, short cuts like crew cut will look good as your hairline has not receded.

Hi Guys,

I'm 23.

I had exams in May/June for like 1.5 months I was stressed out and ate very little. Some days just 1 lite of chocolate milk.

I remember about two years ago my brother began to experience hair thinning and my uncle also said to me that your hair is also thinning, at the time I couldn't see how it was thinning.

Fast forward 2 years and over this exam period I began to visibly see in the mirror my scalp especially when I had not washed my hair, i.e when hair was greasy.

Also when I showered and looked in the mirror I could see my scalp, this was very upsetting I never had this issue before this exam period. After rubbing shampoo in my hair and looking at my hands there is also a lot of hair, this never used to be the case.

As you can imagine this was very upsetting.

After researching hair loss I came to the conclusion that it may have been due to lack of nutrients and bad diet. I have started taking multi vitamins and biotin and focus on improving my diet and reducing stress. One side of me hopes this is the case but the realist in me suspects this is genetics and the stressful period may have sped up the process.

My question is should I also start using rogaine/regaine?

Thanks alot
Stress and male pattern baldness unrelated. Stress related hair loss very rare

Nah. A lot of people’s male pattern baldness has been started or accelerated due to stress. Not saying it comes back like people want to believe, but if you’re predisposed to male pattern baldness and you stress HARD, expect your hair to turn to sh*t the next few months
