It upregulates fgf7 so I'm sure it helps in Androgenetic Alopecia even if it's not enough to achieve statistical significance. Considering his answer though you're better off using a PGF2a analogue for fgf7.Some unfortunate news... I emailed Professor Dan Ben Amitai who worked on the phase 2 trials and he said they quit them because it was ineffective for female androgenic alopecia. Probably still useful for immune system related hair loss.
Edit: To add I asked about safety and he didn’t raise any concern. So I don’t think this is unsafe
