i was just wondering if any body has had issues where they were doing great on propecia/finasteride + minoxidil and then started losing again. thats the case with me where I was doing really good and had grown back a lot of hair but now its starting to go backwards. i've been good with not missing doses either.

If you are losing hair on finasteride+minoxidil, then your father is probably an extra-terrestial. You should check your hormone levels, because I think that they will be pretty bewildered.

well actually it is not that easy. I was a good finsteride responder for 4 years, superb results! after that for 1 year it started to wear off. nothing serious but I was slowly losing. and then came the worst year of my life: 2012! I was literally below my baseline (btw I started finasteride when I was NW1, I even had no visible miniaturization). I increased the dose, did not help much. finally I switched to Avodart, anything changed? I doubt that very much although it has been roughly 6 months. btw last week my blood results came, total T is 818 (not extremely high to indicate a hyperandrogenism) free T is 22.8 (range 3-47) pretty in the middle, actually a little bit low for a guy my age (which is 29). I don't suppose these results are "bewildered" like you claimed! so why it is not working? well I believe body has a wonderful way of adjusting things, and sooner or later it finds a way to balance the effects of DHT blockers. in some people it might take more time (like decades or even 15 years) and in some people the process is faster (like my self). the thing is you should be thankful that medication is working for you a prolonged time, and stop accusing people of spreading false information. not everybody is that lucky and I can warrant that nearly all of the people claiming that the drugs stopped working for them are not lying.
