Hi there I am 22 and I'm getting pretty nervous about my hair. I have always had really thick hair. Barbers have tended to comment as they struggled to comb through it, and they always recommended I had it thinned out. However about two months ago I began to notice in the shower 6 or 7 strands of hair would come out when shampooing. I got pretty worried because I rarely found a hair come out in the shower let alone several in one go. It happened for a week or so. I looked it up at the time, I read that people tend to lose close to 100 a day and it was not uncommon to find 10-20 in the shower. So my worry subsided. However in the past two weeks I have now begun to notice hair dropping out randomly throughout the day. Again common, but again I had never noticed this before, a year ago I would find maybe a hair every couple of days. Now it is 30 or so hairs throughout the day, with 5-10 coming out whilst brushing, similar numbers for shampooing and toweling.
After this new found worry I began to feel my crown where the hair seems to feel slightly weird like it is drier than the rest. Some pics below. I'd like to point out because I'm not sure you can see it fully, but on the left is definitely my crown on the right you can see a slightly bald patch however I have zoomed on that area on my computer and it is not completely bald, there does seem to be very small strands of hair there unlike where the crown is.

Also another note, right now my hair is pretty long, around 5 inches, usually at this point my hair would be really wild and curly at the sides and back and I would need it cut. However currently it is straighter with only a slight curl. Even my mum pointed out that my hair didn't seem as thick as usual. I've noted shorter hairs falling out, hairs around 2-3 inches compared to the overall length of my hair. I have read about miniaturization and that hairs get shorter and thinner. But I have compared a 2 inch hair that has fallen out compared to a 5 inch hair and the 2 inch hair is considerably thicker, around twice as thick as the longer piece, so I don't think my new hairs are getting thinner.
So yeah two things I'd like to point out around 4 months ago I changed my shampoo now I know this wouldn't cause hair loss, at least i hope, but I'm not sure if it could have caused my hair to become drier and maybe appear thinner?
Secondly 3 months ago I had my final exams at university and I was very stressed for them, like incredibly stressed. So maybe that could have been a factor considering that my hair seems thinner on the sides and back, as well as on the top.
Sorry for the really long post. I just wanted to give some backstory to see if anyone could help thanks.
