Hey all, I have been in finasteride for about 8 months, can't really say if it's doing anything at all. But over the last month my has felt and looked thinner and I have been shedding more than usual. But the color of my hair has drastically gotten darker. I was wondering if anyon else has had this weird combo. Thanks

Is hair also more oily? If there are fats on the hair (generally an accompanying factor to male pattern baldness), hair might change shape (hence "wiry") and color. Are you also on minoxidil? This latter is known to grow hair that is a bit different from the one you already have (it is stated in the leaflet).
