Hair falling out rapidly (HELP)

Since 3 weeks ago my hair started falling out like crazy! every morning I wake up, every night before I go to sleep and after a shower so much is hair just falling off.
I went to the doctor and she basically gave me a product like Nizoral which ofcourse helped me with my dandruff but my hair is still falling out after 2 weeks of use.
Its really unusual because the hair is falling from the bottom back of my head where I just have to pull softly and it breaks lose. The thickness of my hair is normal like it always have been so there is no actual thinning taking place. I really hope someone knows why I have this sudden increase of hairloss :sad:

i know it's almost impossible, but try not to pay too much attention to the amount of your hair loss. as long as your hair doesn't get worse it's not important how much hair you loose, i'm going through the same thing every spring/summer, it always starts around April/May and goes til August/September where i lose between 200 and 300 hairs/day (mostly on the back or above my ears.)

there's really not much you can do, seasonal shedding is pretty common

Are you a NW1? If so, you could be a diffuse thinner.

If you're pulling hair from the closest part to your neck I'd be worried (and happy it's not male pattern baldness) but did your doctor say it was male pattern baldness? If it was as intense as you're saying I'm sure she would have taken a more aggressive route.. it probably is m0b based on what your Doctor fave u

I hope you're right, I sortof remember ***uely about a few years ago this happened also. My hair at the crown fell out and the sides ofcourse. And on top of that it was a warm day and I had a cap on everyday.
Although no hair is falling above my ears this time.

My doctor told me that I have tinea capitis and she gave me Ketoconazol which indeed got rid of my dandruff and itchy scalp. I still have to proceed this treatment for 2 more weeks and see it out but my hairloss became worse as time passed. Also I suffer a bit rom male pattern baldness on the sides. Going to see the doctor somewhere this week if posible ;o

I believe I am a Nw3 with only severe hairloss at the left side of my scalp. To be honest all of my hair was growing really well and I really had big hopes on regaining the hairstyle I wanted but then 1 day it all started to fall out. Exactly the day I started taking in Biotin supplement, the day what the other guy mentioned was the change of season and the day I started fapping like real crazy lately. (Just for the people that likes to believe that masturbation is also to blame for hairloss.)
