Hair dry as hell after minoxidil, any suggestions? Scalp is fine

Hello lads,

Just started using minoxidil and my scalp is fine, no itchiness. I used nizoral as well before the minoxidil apllication. Five minutes after the minoxidil apllication I brush my hair and it looks pretty good, still wet. When it drys though it looks really dry, do you guys use gell or something to keep the wet look?

i can use gel after an hour of minoxidil, and with little water it'll look better. But dont use sticky gels or cheap ones..
