Hair At The Back Of The Head Sticking Out After Sleeping

Usually after going to bed at night, I find that the hair at the back of the head sticks out quite weirdly like how it does in the picture. To me, it seems quite weird how it extends in a line.
Anyone going through balding also experience the same thing?

You need some Pomemade. That or grow it out longer.

The other option is buzzing it short, same length.

Thanks for the advice. After showering, it's barely noticeable. My main concern though is if this is normal for people going through balding?
