Gym supplements and shedding

Hi all,

I've been shedding solidly for the last 2 months, which is odd as I haven't made any changes to my hairloss regime. I initially thought it might be a seasonal shed (if they exist), however this has persisted for too long. The only thing I can attribute it to is the fact that I've started hitting the gym 3-5 times a week, taking the following supplements:

Whey protein
Casein protein
BCAAs
Carnitine
Glutamine
Betaine
Beta-alanine

Are any of these known to encourage hairloss?

Pretty much everything fine with the supplements you are taking. BCAAs and L-Carnitine are even supposed to have some affect on hair growth. Creatine is the one popular supplement that can have hair loss as a side effect.

Perhaps you have a deficit of some nutrients. I always recommend to take biotin as supplement those who have any problem with hair.
