I'm a 22 yo who needs some suggestions. I usually have my hair cut short (1/2") and squared off in the front (sharp angles at the temples, straight hairline). But early last year 2006 my right temple started to recede and my hairline started to rise a few cms. I noticed this because a slight widow's peak was beginning to form. Well I've been using Tricomin shampoo and 5% Minoxidil ever since then, and while those two have pretty much halted further recession, they haven't given me enough regrowth.
Nowadays I just cut my hair a little further back to maintain the "box" look. A few years ago when I was 20, the cut was much closer to the center of my face, and I want that back. My hairline was maybe half an inch lower, and my right temple area fuller. I have no hairloss anywhere else on my head.
Anyway, I just wanted some feedback from any guys out there who cut their hair the same way as me. Any suggestions? Do you think I should jump on the Propecia bandwagon? I'd rather do something about it while I can than sit and wait for it to get worse. Thanks guys!!

I was also trying to set realistic goals for him with hairloss it's more of a matter of maintaining rather than regrowing everything back,I was in his position few years back,now I'm 30 and I look like I have okay hair for a 30 year old,before I felt I was 24 going bald.. it looked bad in my eyes I wanted it all back,now I'm happy to maintain and don't look like I'm going bald or really losing it... whichever route he choses,adding Nizoral will be a great idea regardless... if he choses spironolactone or Proscar/Propecia.
