Guys I Dunno What To Do (as Far As Finnasteride And Sexual Sides)

I've been using finasteride for about 4 months and I think it's effecting my erection quality. I just simply can't get 100% hard like I used to - I'll get all the way erect but it's more of a "soft - on" than a super hardon with excellent blood flow. I also struggle to keep it going without continuously stroking myself. Now this is all relating to p**rn - I'm not seeing any women right now. The problem is I'm a compulsive masturbator - I do it sometimes 15-20 times a week so I dunno if my lack of super awesome erections is because of p**rn or finasteride. I'm also not seeing any women right now - I know in the past, I got way more hard around a real woman than p**rn. I should add that my sex drive is still a raging inferno and I have no problems ejaculating.


To throw a wrench in this issue, I just started messing around with cialis and my erection quality is at 120%. You can hang a towel on my penis. Do I want to keep using cialis forever?


What do you guys think? Am I damaging myself by just continuing to combine finnasteride and cialis? I'm 29. I talked to a guy the other day who told me he used cialis from 29 to 49 and still had phenomenal erections

cialis is not addictive afaik , u just use em as long as u want but they are expensive
softer erections are probably from finasteride , it is not an uncommon side effect

money is not an issue

Am I damaging myself by using cialis/finasteride forever? Will I ever grow tolerant to cialis and not be able to even get it up with cialis?

i had once looked em up , think u dont grow tolerant or get addicted to them
if money is not an issue maybe you can try setipiprant for a few months , it is anecdotally not as good as finasteride but it works for some people
Its up to you though, i personally would be a bit worried to keep taking finasteride if you notice side effects already , since you have to take it for as long as you wanna maintain your hair , so be prepared to live with cialis for 10 + years , noone stops caring about hair in their 30s

i too get mild side effects when i get on finasteride and i ve not found an answer to wether i should be scared or not !
i m planning to try 0.5mg /day topical and see if it helps , otherwise i ll probably get back to oral i guess

well i've been on it for years. side i had were aching balls for the first 2 weeks, then my sex drive was 10-20% higher (yeah it actually increased). erections stayed the same but i was never weak dicked to begin with. i have always been a quick finisher and that didn't change sadly. mind now that i am nw4 i don't really have any women to worry about anyway

i think the more you read about sides the more it will play on your mind. there are people here who have driven themselves to insanity by reading about finasteride sides. they read about 1 guy who claims "i got permanent sexual dysfunction from finasteride, can't have sex now".
then the next time they have sex, they think back to that post and they get anxious and worried that it might happen to them. this causes them to lose their erection and of course they think it is finasteride. they get even more anxious and the cycle continues until they say that finasteride has ruined their penis and life...

If it's just psychological, why is my erections so strong on cialis?

Cialis is supposedly good for your health regardless - it lowers inflammation, improves blood flow at the gym and improves testosterone to estrogen ratio. I might just keep taking it forever

After 2 months of finasteride, I no longer feel any sides at all. I think my body has adjusted to its new testosterone levels. I still get excited and find pleasure in sex and masturbation day and night. Give it time

I'm not using cialis today and I'm able to get hard but it's just not quite as good. It's probably plenty enough to have sex with a woman
