Guys I Don't Know What To Do (please Help)

I don't know if this is strictly psychological but I've been on finnasteride for 3 months and I just cannot get hard like I used to (29 year old male). My sex drive is ferociously strong, my semen seems to be very thick and I have no problems cumming but I can't get hard without touching my penis and when I do touch it, it doesn't get as hard as it used to (maybe 80% as hard as it used to get)

What should I do? I'm on finasteride 0.25 mg per day. Is this all in my head? from what I understand finasteride can affect sex drive but it should have zero effect on erectile function. Why am I struggling with this?

Do I get a transplant without being on finasteride and just staying on rogaine? I'm an NW2 but I have a thinning crown which is a terrible sign of hair loss down the line (I'm 29). Do I stay on finasteride and hope side effects go away? Do I go on cialis permanently? my poor erection are my only problem...I have not experienced any other side effects

if you suspect its finasteride then it is, personally it made me lose my erections for 3 weeks now after quitting and still going, suffered ED low libido and loss of sensation while on it. Personally if your hairloss is how you say it is, i doubt it will speed up quickly, so check for brotzu in 2 weeks which would be a good alternative and/or wait for rch-01

if thats what you want to believe, from my experience it was finasteride, if you think its in your head then go ahead and continue with the treatment

what about using cialis or v**** to get hard?

is it stupid to take a pill for the side effect of another pill?

Like I said, the bright side for me is my libido is still very strong...that's a much bigger problem than not being able to get hard enough

Its a slippery slope bro. I had premature ejaculation problem but due to my high libido it was not big a problem. First round I would come within 2 minutes, next 6,7 minute , third I could go on 15 minutes or so. But finasteride killed not only my erections but libido too.
Now I am off the drug for one and half year, erections are 70,80% of usual but libido is not what it used to be. Once I have an orgasm I don't feel like doing it for 24 hours or may be more. Ofcourse I can get it up within 1/2 hour if I force myself but its not very electric feeling.

Point is Your high libido won't save u if you are susceptible to finasteridr side effects. As libido itself would be underattack

I am seeing you very tensed for last few days. It's a tough choice brother but writing is on the wall and only you can see it.
Though you can continue to take it and hope sides would go away as many people claim. But if you choose that path make a conscious choice to put every negativity away.

@brahmabull117 you should stop with finasteride and overall everyone should stop finasteride.

First because 5 alpha reductase not only play a role to covert T in DHT but a lot of other brain neurosteroids.

The problem with finasteride is that it reach and go through the blood brain barrier and go inside your CFS (central nervous fluid system)

I personally use finasteride for more than a year without sides and it regrow so well my hair and then suddenly the body crash.

If you don’t get side for a time this is normal but then when you start experiencing them is just a sign that your body cannot fight it anymore and loose the battle.

+ why people are experiencing libido problem and major crash after stoping it.

Because finasteride depriving you from DHT upregulate the number of DHT receptor in your pennis making more of them to counteract the lack of DHT in the blood.
Once you are off this rush of DHT oversatureted the DHT receptor and that is what we call the Post finasteride syndrome.

I have it since 7 years and not fully recovered. I would really not encourage people to use finasteride as it’s a dangerous poison. You can imagine that even a pregnant woman cannot touch a pill !

So if you want to save your hair try Zix or other solution or wait a bit in 3-5years with steam cell. But you can be sure that messing with the body is disregarding an autonomous system that a lot of time is rarely rebalancable because we still not understand how everything work....

How is hair doing? What you need to do it stop Ger King off for a week. Keep taking it, I think people on finasteride are always testing to see if they can get hard and always getting off, dick can't keep up and then they think they have sides. Just forget your dick for a week and keep taking Finasteride.

I'm only on Saw Palmetto and I was getting a soft erection even on that. But Ger King off 2 times a day, 14 times a week, 56 times a month can't help. So now I don't, and get morning wood ,and c*** works fine when asked.

I can masturbate 6 times a day right now if I want. My sex drive is completely insane. Even if its 50% of normal, I would be totally ok

there's a good chance my sexual problems are all psychological anyways. The cialis will overcome all that and give me great erections when I'm aroused

Ha-ha Dude you are too scared at one minute and too confident the next. But than i cannot blame you, this sh*t screw sanest of people.
Bdw I was one of those 6 times a day dude as well ha-ha. And had this exact same thought process. Most of us were. Been there felt all that.
