Hi, my local pharmacy has started to sell something called Grow Gorgeous Hair Growth Serum which makes big claims about regrowth. I looked it up on the net and all the reviews are glowing about how much hair they have regrown. It sounds like snake oil and the reviews are probably written by their PR dept. Any one ever heard if it it tried it? Not expecting much from this but who knows?

Looked at the ingredients utter bulls**t. May help someone without Androgenetic Alopecia, MAY and WITHOUT being the operative words.

Why does a hair serum have lactic acid? It's my first time seeing that. A lot of ingredients are just irrelevant.

Most likely BS. Only way to know for sure is to try it and report back.

The main ingredients are supposed to be Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 and Trifolium Pratense (Red clover extract). They were the Active ingredients in a formula known as Capixyl that supposedly got bought by L'Oreal or some other company. Apparently there is some validity to the ability of Trifolium Pratense (which contains biochanin-a) working as a DHT inhibitor. Capixyl supposedly ran the studies already a long time ago with very good results, but I haven't been able to find anything about it positive or negative other than some graphs given by the company (at the very least they seemed to know what they were talking about, and the company is large and works with chemical manufacturing). I haven't found anyone on any hairloss forum that has tried it either, or any formula with those ingredients and I don't know why no one has tried it at all other than the reviews on dealer sites like amazon. I'm tempted to try it but I'm broke.
