green tea extract

this might sound like a daft question... but ive read alot about the effects green tea extract used as a topical can have on hair regrowth, this might be a bit naive but to what extent could drinking green tea help?

it does absolutely nothing even if you swallow green tea extract. Some folks tried to mix minoxidil with it and othe stuff (grape seed extract and such) but I don't know how it works
