Great example of a mature hair line

The first picture is my 11th grade school photo. The 2nd one is when I was 21.

As you can see, the hair line has receded, but it is still thick and even. It just shifted up a bit. I actually didn't even notice this until the male pattern baldness started kicking in, and I went back and started looking at old photos. It happened sometime very quickly when I was about 18.

Definatley, I'm convinced the skull continues to grow until the early 20's.

No offense, but why are you here? Being a good guy and showing those lucky ones on here that their hairline isn't receding beyond whats normal? I mean, you certainly don't appear to be losing your hair...
My bad... and then the male pattern baldness started kicking. Missed that, sorry.

Ever think maybe he thought he was going bald came to this forum and relized it was just a mature hair line. He's showing those people still maturing that it's nothing to worry about. Props to you man!

I see alot of people complaining about these people posting about blading spots but really it's just mature hair line. Good to see someone helping them relize it's nothing to worry about. Seems you can't please everyone though.

Uhh, yeah. Thats what I meant by, "Being a good guy and showing those lucky ones on here that their hairline isn't receding beyond whats normal?".

Just a tip: A sentence that contains a question usually ends with one of these: ?

yeah my male pattern baldness kicked in about a year after that 2nd photo. I am now back to that point thanks to the big 3 (thank god), and I hope to remain like this as long as possible.

i just wanted to make the point that if I didnt have male pattern baldness at all, my hair line would still look like the 2nd photo.

I'm here to support people and not create problems. I'm not sure how my English grammar plays a role in that, but who knows.

Thank you for sharing your pictures, it's always good to see the differences and time lines when we mature.

I'm hoping to get on the big 3, may just 2 products of the big 3 and see how it goes. I'm still a little unsure.

I see no difference between the second and third photos and am convinced you do not have male pattern baldness. It is just a mature hairline and is not an indication of male pattern baldness. But yes, it is refreshing to see someone such as yourself who is not delusional thinking that they are bald. Congrats.

haha i wish. There is no difference in the photos because i have been using the big 3 for over a year. the mature hair line occured at 18, and aggressive male pattern baldness kicked in at 22. Almost 26, I am back to where I was at 21. A picture from last year would show a big difference. i was in bad shape for a while.

What makes you think that the second photo shows a mature hairline rather than the start of male pattern baldness?

Yeah I agree with the above poster, I think im past mature hairline and im an NW2, with less curve than in your second photo. You just got lucky that you respond well to meds.

Shortly after the 1st photo, (about 17-18) I quickly transformed to the 2nd photo. That was around the time people started saying I look "like a man". It stayed like that for about 4 years. Once the male pattern baldness started kickin in at 22 and all my hair started thinning, I looked at past photos.

I'll take your word for it... I'm still not convinced that you weren't slowly receding since the first photo though. Anyway, congrats, your hair looks good.

i think its just exaggerated because in the 2nd photo I have my head pointing down.

Here's another pic - this one was taken shortly after the 2nd photo.. approx 1 year before male pattern baldness recession started.

also, heres a good read: http://ushairrestoration.com/blog/2008/ ... hair-line/
