I have very minimal recession along my temples. I'm maybe a Norwood 2 or 2.5 on the sides of my temples at most. My hairline itself hardly looks recessed other than it looking a bit uneven. I'm mainly interested in filling in my temples. Does anyone know a good surgeon for this in California?

I'm an Asian male late twenties, concerned about shock loss. I have slight thinning all over my head, but it's so subtle it's hardly noticeable. I shed a bit in the shower, but that too is quite negligible. I just want to fill in my temples without suffering shock loss.

Hi,

I read Asian male, so the next question is, are you looking for FUT or FUE? After speaking with a couple if folks, FUT seems to be safer for Asian hair, but some surgeons seem to omit this and still take on such patients for FUE.

Dr diep has a lot of asian hair experience for FUE, but I’d get on finasteride to protect the rest of your hair for such a small procedure
