good news is proscar has regrown a lot of my hair in the back and top. bad news is that i'm losing a lot of hair in the front and it's not helping it...it's weird..i have so much hair but the first inch and a half in the front is diffused thinning. if i comb my hair forward you can't tell i'm balding..but if i comb it back, it's obvious that i am..at least in the front. when i can't conceal it with hair i'll use couvre, but what when there's hardly any hair left. it'll suck. i look real good with hair forward but pulled back i look bad because of the hair which shows i have no hairline in the front.. or a diffused hairline. anyways, thank god for proscar

weren't you using minoxidil? did you stop it? finasteride never did crap for me in front, but minoxidil did.

Have you always had diffusion aroudn the hairline? Or has it just been progressivly getting worse since starting rogaine way back when and it just continued getting worse even though you added proscar? Maybe you should go back to attacking the hairline area 2x a day with minoxidil rather than 1x. Just my 2 cents

Im seeing good results from Propecia and Nizoral alone. My hairline has stayed about the same and my shedding has slown down quite a bit. I have super thick hair, but my temples are pretty bad. The good thing is if Propecia really is working like I think it is and I respond well to in the front I will have my hair a long time. :) In your case maybe you need to add Minoxil, but I would try to hold that off, that sh*t is so messy!

i use minoxidil too..for 3 years.. it continues to go but in a slow pace. the funny thing is it's gone thinner and thinner over the years only where i applied minoxidil. and it's not because of a shed. it's been thin like this for a while..a year or two
