Going to start using minoxidil again - Currently shedding from finasteride

Last time around with minoxidil I shaved my head prior to shedding, so I don't know how bad it was. My hair has taken a turn for the worse with finasteride, in particular my hairline, but I can see tiny hairs beginning to come back, so I want to jump back on minoxidil and try to make them terminal. How bad is the shed going to be?

Does anyone have any pictures of their shed? Also, how long into 5% 2x a day will I start shedding?

my hair got worse after 2 months of starting minoxidil, saw progress on beginning of month 3. I know this can be hard but you have to use minoxidil and just stop worrying about it for At least 3 months, from then one you will most likely see results if you are a responder

I'm not too worried about the shed, I should have started sooner since I can wear a cap all winter.
