Going to start finasteride. Support or comments appreciated

Gentlemen,

I'm 26 and at a NW3. I ignored the problem for quite a while, but I've decided to at least try to hang on to what I have. I'm in the "hoping something better comes along" boat.

I've been reading about finasteride for years. The side effects, the benefits, and everything in between. Reading too much tends to put you in almost analysis paralysis not being sure what to do. Anyway, I've decided to see if I'm a good responder.

Any general comments? I'll be careful to note any side effects.

Are most of you on actual Propecia or Proscar? Are most of you getting it through prescription? If not, where are you buying it? I saw Finpecia at Inhouse and thought of picking that up.
