Going from twice to once a day with Rogaine?

Ok, so I won't able to apply my Rogaine liquid in the mornings anymore. It makes my hair look terrible for hours and I can't have that look in the mornings. I have seen pretty good results since starting about 7 months ago, but since I'm also taking Propecia, I don't know which to attribute the success to. Anyway, is it safe to switch from twice a day to only once a day? Will I start losing more hair? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I've considered switching to the foam a couple times, but I'm afraid I won't see the same results. I've also thought about taking the foam in the morning and the liquid at night, but I've heard that that might not work. What do you guys think?

I've heard of a few guys doing that on here, I don't think they have any problems.

I think in the studies, foam showed slightly better results.

If you just maintain your hair, once day is probably fine. If you want to grow more hair, definitely use it twice a day.

So what's the general consensus? Completely switch over to the foam or use the foam in the morning and the liquid at night? Which do you guys think will produce better results?

I don't know of any "studies" that compared Rogaine foam with Rogaine liquid. If you know of any, please point them out to me.

I'm only paraphrasing what I've read on here, so I could be wrong but it wasn't a study comparing the two. Just the original tests on rogaine liquid and foam.

I feel that liquid gives me better coverage so it makes me feel better, I feel foam dries faster and smells good. I use liquid at night, foam in the morning, or also foam at night when I think I'm getting lucky ;)

So far (1 month) No noticeable loss, though I gained but I attribute that to starting finasteride 2-3 months ago.

i apply rogaine in the morning before going to work and then later in the evening after work. so thats like a 10hour window. should i wash my hair before reapplying rogaine in the evening? what about others such as revivogen or spironolactone? like can i apply rogaine, leave it there for 4,5 hours and later apply revivogen or spironolactone without washing hair?

Why not do what I do, and melt the foam before applying it, and then putting it on with a dropper? You can melt the foam in the cap in your hands, on a heater or in hot water, and it dries just as quickly when put in with a dropper than just massaging it in. It also doesn't make your hair look messy.

You'll be fine going to once a day, I saturate my head in my minoxidil for 24 hours when I have the chance though.

I do foam in morning, since its best and can style my hair and make my hair instantly look alot more thicker with less hair loss.

Liquid at night since liquid is far better on me and showed more regrowth then foam did over 3 years... and i was using liquid for 3 months only!

Will give it a go and see how it goes:)

I use foam in the morning and Kirkland liquid at night. The liquid seems to me to be more effective in actually soaking in to the scalp. However, it takes forever to dry and when it eventually does it feels chalk and stiff.

The foam on the other hand drys in 2-3 minutes but I doubt it is as effective vehicle for soaking in to my scalp. You can however style almost normally with the foam which makes it fine for everyday use before work.

I want to ask for usinig minoksidil 5 %. I use minoxsidil 5 % two times a day six weeks. Before I use minoxidil 2% or minoxidil 5% once a day. I stop to use minoxidil because dont have a result. I ask How many time does new hair fall. I think on new hair which grow up with minoxidil.
