Glasgow Celtic stars' hair transplants.

I see various threads about 'celebrities' now and then. Just thought I'd make one about the football team I support: Glasgow Celtic, of Scotland.

Currently two of our players have had hair transplants after losing hair quite young: Anthony Stokes (26) and Leigh Griffiths(24). Each have been balding since they were about 20.

This was done at the KLS Hair Studio in Glasgow, they have a deal with them. I've never heard of it though. They do all the Scottish footballers' hair transplant. Gary Mackay-Stevens (24) is also getting a hair transplant from here too during the summer. Three players in the one team!

Anyway.

Anthony Stokes:

Gary Mackay-Stevens

Mixed results. Stokes looks amazing, I think he may use some concealer but I've seen videos of him even more recently than that picture - amazing. He's had his hair now for a year.

Griffiths, his hair transplant is less aesthetically pleasing. Very thin, wirey and wispy.

GMS, well his hair looks fine in all honesty, to the untrained eye. However he probably has an Norwood 2.5, maybe even 3 and he hides it well. He never exposes his right temple - where the problem area is I suspect.

Shame about his penalty miss though!

They look really well done, suppose they can get it done with the best surgeons with their "spare change".

Ha, I know. We got there in the end though.

And yes, wouldn't it be great to live the life of a footballer. They got their hair done for free - due to the advertisement. Unreal.

The surgeon who carried it out said on Twitter that it would range between £7k-£9k for Stokes' hair transplant. Not cheap for your average Joe at all in Britain.

Unfortunately not :(

Anthony Stokes holy mother of god....I've seen more pictures, honestly unreal.
If everyone got similar results to him, I'd say we have a hair loss cure.

When I see a picture of a hair transplant like Stoke's one, my heart jumps and I think i'm saved. But unfortunately I then look at other peoples hair transplant and think about scarring, and progressive hair loss and I always eventually get back to the idea that Its not a solution for me. Will just cause more **** down the line. You can never guarantee that sort of result.

I feel exactly the same way. I think you can pretty much guarantee a good result though if you've got good donor hair - provided you've got a bucketload of cash to go to the best of the best. As a 25 year old who wants to do other things with my life, £8-10k just isn't feasible.

Stokes just seemed to take the hair transplant well from the word go:

Same studio but now former Everton player, James McFadden:

They really are quite good but as always the price of a hair transplant in the U.K. is extortionate. Belgium or Turkey for your average Joe at a more affordable price.

I'm 26, my hair loss is actually very similar to Stokes. Not quite as as bad, but very receded, and thinning behind the forelock. I've shaved it now. I would definitely save up the money for his results. If I could believe Propecia would hold of any more hair loss for the next 10years, and if I knew for certain FUE scars wouldn't be visible when hair loss does progress and I need to shave. I would do it. But I can't be sure :( I just want reasonable hair till 35 at least.

I just searched 'Stokes 2015' on google images sometimes his hair looks good, but usually it looks unbelievably thin. Unfortunately Toppik or something is doing most of the work. Without it, it looks ****.
