Give up?

Hey guys,

So I've been on finasteride for 6 months now and rogaine for 5, the problem is I haven't seen any results just further loss by the looks of things. My hairline has receded a bit more and I've continued to thin on top. I seemed to go through some sort of shed at month 2 not sure if it was the propecia or rogaine it thinned out the sides and top, the sides definitely came back in ( by sides I mean left/right hand side of the top) so on the minx instructions it says if you don't see any results in 4 months you should stop and should I be seeing any results with finasteride yet? I figured at 21 with the signs of male pattern baldness only showing up about 2 years ago I was in with a good chance but it doesn't look like it.

Ok, I'm in the same boat only much older.

I have been posting about the same message on here. I tell you what I tell myself. Hang in there. 6 months is too short.

This is to motivate you/us. Look at the time horizon. Nothing under 1 year. It's being said for a reason, don't be impatient. These treatments take time. If you stop now things will proceed, that's sure. You will ask yourself: what if I had continued.

I continue to shed 100+ hairs. I'm frustrated and annoyed. Let's do this together, give it some more time. Don't give up!

I wish that in those before and after photos they would at least try to keep the same sort of haircut. It's quite hard to tell the real difference with some of them ...and some seem to be at the stage where it would be better if they just shaved it tbh.
