After having my system for almost two months now it has been a whirlwind of an experience full of highs and lows.
So my problem is I still can’t get a decent hold from ghost bond. I bought walker tape max scalp protector and it is fine for day to day but as soon as I sweat off it comes. the main thing that is confusing me is that there is no I mean none at all adhesive in my head it is all on the system. I give it a rub with alcohol heat it up and stick it back down but obviously this isn’t ideal going forward.
many help or advice would be appreciated.

Weird. Maybe you have a really oily scalp. Ensure you are really scrubbing your scalp and scrub it with alcohol too just before attach. Ensure you are letting the glue fully dry before attaching and try 3 very thin layers.

You might want to try a UTS base with a solvent-based clear glue like Davlyn black. That stuff will never come off until you peel it off with alcohol.

Thankyou for the reply.
I have tried the things you have mentioned so the next thing I was going to try was a different glue. I am not aware of an overly oily scalp. What is strange is that the tape which I use on perimeter and middle is brillaiant currently on 2 weeks and a day and no sign of movement but I have had to redo the front (ghost bond) 3 times in that time.
I am having a new system in a week or so which is much thinner poly with a lace front so I am hoping this may help.

So if he tape is working, use it. Maybe using the Walker Tape, Lace Front Thin will work for you instead of glue?

yes I did use tape on front but my current system is thick poly and was very noticeable.
So tape on lace front should work?

The Lace Front Support Tape from Walkers is basically a glue strip. I have similar problems that you have. This holds the best for me, and is great for a visible hairline., it is really really thin. You could use another strip right behind it for more support, if you think you need it.

Are you sure? I've used lace front tape in a roll and it was the thickness of ultrahold.

I believe the absolute thinnest, which has no substrate, and is just formed glue, is 3 mil Walker tape.

Glue at the hairline never lasts as long as a taped perimeter.

People tend to get 1-4 weeks from a taped perimeter and 3-7 days on a glued hairline.

Oily skin is the lower end of those times.... but even those that get extended hold times redo the hairline once a week and completely remove and reinstall the system once every two weeks.

Sounds like you're doing well, as even those with ideal hold times would have redone the hairline twice already.
Maybe give Pro Hair Labs no sweat a try.

The THIN, not the regular... it's thinner, it compresses because there is no harder substrate.

I've talked to the gentleman who picks up the phone at Pro Labs. He's very knowledgeable.

First of all, he doesn't advocate cleaning the scalp w alcohol prior to attaching a piece (The salon I got my first piece from didn't either.), citing while it temporarily dries the skin out, it creates a surge in the production of oil/sebum to counteract that dryness, which affects your bond.

Two, he doesn't recommend using scalp protector with glue, only tape.
