Just wondering how many people here take (what HairLossTalk.com has now coined as a global hair loss term): GHETTO finasteride.

Ghetto finasteride is of course generic finasteride purchased from 3rd world countries for $10 so as to save money.

theres ghetto propecia and ghetto proscar too you know..

i was using generic proscar at first, merck approved since its being marketted by them in my country but at only 10$ for 14 pills...thats a 2 month supply give or take a day or two...

i got sexual sides..lack of libido etc and a MASSIVE shed within 10 days of treatment so i knew it worked fine...i also lost hair from the hairline at the back..seems to have receded upwards..and it was definitely the finasteride shed that caused it cause i've never lost a hair from that region (back of head) in my life..

i've now switched to generic propecia..called "Genesis"..its 1 mg tabs for 5 $/30 pills...month supply...its weird but my shed seems to have gone down somewhat..and my libido is returning albeit slowly..
