Getting Hair Tested in Australia?

Hi all

I have been losing hair for a few years now....tried finasteride, minoxidil etc.

Finasteride gave me a few too many sides and afarid of using it long term.

I would like to perhaps have my hair tested to check whether there is a reason for the shedding. Its mainly temples and a little on the back.

I know the answer will inevitable come down to alopecia and so on but am thinking there is no harm in getting myself tested.

Does anyone know of any Dr's in Sydney Australia who specialise in this sort of thing?

any help or advice would be nice

hey i got treated by a proffesor in hairloss his name is proffesor sinclair and he is one of the people developing stem cell reserch for hairloss

can anyone help me out? I know of plenty of places in sydney that you can to and they give you options as far as laser treatments, propecia etc.

That is not what im looking for. I would like to get my hair tested and possibly a blood test by an actual Dr. Yes i know im clutching at straws and im under no illusions that i have standard hair loss consistent with the usual factors but there is no hard in trying.

I have tried propecia and the hairloss probably wasnt as bad but i was still losing my hair. The side effects were a worry as far as loss libido and gyno as well.

Any advice on where i can find a Dr in Sydney that will give me a definite answer would be fantastic
