Getting Desparate Now

Hey All

Need advice on where to go now. Just had a haircut and things are looking pretty grim.

Unlike most of you (it seems) my male pattern baldness is starting at the crown, with no visible effect on the hairline or front of my head. Even just after a haircut, i was able to conceal the thinning until recently. Now gaps are forming and the hair is beginning to look thin and "fluffy".

Am currently on finasteride 1.25mg, minoxidil 1.5ml (once daily), Crew peptides every second day and nizoral 2-3 times per week.

Have been on finasteride and minoxidil for 2 years nearly. Where to go now?! Revivogen? Laser Comb?

I want to attach any image, but don't know how.

Sounds like you are using the most popular products here on HairLossTalk.

Stick to it and read up on all the other issues.

So far, it seems that it works for some people, but that the genetic timeclock is moving forward reguardless of what you eat or slap on your head. We're ALL anxiously awaiting that "miracle" that's yet to come.

Thanks Goingoin and t=d.

Definitely going to keep the regimen up. When I put my pictures up you'll see that I still have most of my hair left, and even on the crown, I think it's all still there, just miniaturising.

But given my current regime, anyone know how I can improve it's efficacy? For example, I mean:

would moving to minoxidil twice a day be better?

what about taking my proscar before food rather than after?

substituting Folligen for my American Crew peptides?

substituting my once daily minoxidil to once daily xandrox?

adding in something like Revivogen?

Use of dermatch or thickening shampoos etc?...

Sorry to keep harping on guys - like the title says, I'm just getting a little desparate.

Thanks Gardener - might have to jump on minoxidil in the am too, then. I kinda like the convenience of a one off pm application though. As I recall, you recently reviewed the Xandrox 15% - greasiness of the product aside, you would not recommend that I take this over twice daily minoxidil 5%? Or do you think I should save the Xandrox for later in case things get really grim?

Also since I still have most of my hair, inhibiting as much DHT as possible would probably do the trick right? Hence, would not the addition of Revivogen or some other topical anti-dht be a good idea?

Interesting regimen you have there too Gardener - green tea, eh? Is this from a tea bag or do you only use the real leaf stuff. The more and more I read about green tea, the better it sounds, with (apparently) quite good AR-5 inhibiting properties. I usually have one cup of green tea a day... any apparent results from it?

Thanks again

it seems to me that revivogen or spironolactone would be the next in order. I always thought I would switch to dutasteride. if the big 3 started to wane for me, but it seems to have had mixed results up to this point from what i can tell..
