Getting A Tan Line At The Hairline While Keeping The Hair Protected

Like this guy has. I would like to have a tanline where my hairline should be, so I would know where to apply the glue all the time easily and lay the system. Would it be too difficult to maintain it? How would it be possible to get sun exactly on the hairline, but not at all to the hair itself? As we know sun and uv rays damage hair and I wouldn't want that. Some kind of a special hat would be nice.

Have been wondering this myself. But if you watch some of his videos you can see that his tan line kinda.. moves around.. just a little bit from video to video. Sometimes it looks like.. idk I wanna say a 1/16 inch thick tan line between his tan and hairline.. which sort of looks odd and can bring attention right to that hairline.
