Getting a Propecia Prescription Question

I'm a diffuse thinner on the top of my head and am going to give Propecia a shot. I currently do not have a doctor that I go to (just got out of school). Can I just go to any doctor or should I go to a dermatologist to get a prescription? Thanks in advance to any replies.

Does anyone have an actual prescription to Propecia? If so, did they get it through a dermatologist or a general practitioner? Thanks.
