Getting A Hair Cut Tomorrow, Suggestions?

So I'm going to the barbers tomorrow for a haircut and I never know what to get, so I just go for the generic number 2 on back and sides and a bit of the top haha. Anyone know what should I should ask for? I'm an -8 year old boy, nw2.5 , but problem is, I have a big *** forehead as well as the recession. Forelock and crown little thin, but mainly thick. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sides very short, top not so short. Basically only thing you can do when your hair is thin

Jk. Fades are generally best for thinning hair. Anywhere from skin to 2 guard sides/back, longer on top
