I just looked in the back of a Life Extension magazine, and saw they have 20 different tests you can pay for. I'm guessing you'd have to have blood drawn too.

You pay them $45, they send you something, and you mail it back to them, I'm guessing after you get your blood drawn. Probably have to take their kit to a normal blood tech.

I'm wondering if this test is suitable to measure DHT in the follicle itself.

The important is not blood level but in the hair follicle.

No, it does not measure it in the follicle, and no, the follicle does not matter for DHT tests. The follicle levels only matter for hair loss treatment, not for the test itself.

Take the test 3 hours after taking known propecia, from a doctor, bought at a real pharmacy. Then don't take any drug for 5 days. Then take the test again 3 hours after taking a questionable drug. It has not guarantee for future purchases though, and costs $90 extra.

Why would you want to test the follicle levels? We already know how much the follicle levels are affected because it is in the literature already. Maybe you'd want to test them if you are one of the few non-responders to doctor prescribed finasteride or dutasteride. Anyone buying online should try that first before saying they are not responding.
