basicaly my mothers side have hairloss in their family. and my fathers side have no hairloss .

i have two brothers. one of my brothers hair is exactly like my dads. he has no hairloss at all touch wood. and my other brother has hairloss. on the crown. he's 29 its not that bad. anyhow i think he's inherited that from my mothers side.

but me on the other have very agressive hairloss. which started at 18. which was inherited by my mother presumably. what i was wondering is why is my hairloss alot worse then my brother who has also inherited his hair from the mothers side?

i would have thought that a mother has a certain genes that she passes down. so for instance if i went on my father hair gene. it would be exactly like his. and if i went on my others it would be exactly like hers.

its quite confusing. any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

Genetics dont work like that. Its all totally random and can follow traits from anywhere in your families history. Even if all your male relatives have hair you could still end up nw7 because far back down the line someone else was. Its just like you could be 5'9" with blonde hair and have a brother who is 6' 1" with dark hair.
