Generic Propecia and Online Pharmacies?

Alright, so I've been using Rogaine twice a day for the past two years and it hasn't really helped prevent my hairloss. After coming across these boards I discovered that finasteride is pretty much mandatory in order for Rogaine to work. I'm currently 24 and at the point where I can still somewhat hide my hairloss (via a "backwards combover"), but I'm losing more and more hair on my crown and it's becoming much more difficult to hide. Desperate not to lose anymore hair, I got a prescription for Propecia from my doctor about a week ago. However, I have yet to fill it because it's not covered by my insurance and will cost me about 92 bucks a month. That's a lot for someone fresh out of college, but I'm willing to do anything for the sake of preventing any further hair loss. Before I fill my prescription, I just want to make sure that there isn't a more affordable way of getting the drug.

Is there any generic Propecia that works? Is Finpecia legit? Is there a safe online pharmacy that sells a form of 1mg finasteride?

Or do all you finasteride users shell out just under 100 bucks every month to your local pharmacy?

I got mine from 4rx.com. Otherpeople use inhousepharmacy or other websites. I've had good success with generics.

Finasteride isn't "mandatory in order for Rogaine to work", it's just that Rogaine doesn't do what you think it does! Rogaine stimulates a bit of hair growth in the scalp, although it doesn't interfere with the fundamental cause of balding; therefore, balding soon continues, even when using Rogaine alone.

There are a few different ways you can interfere with the fundamental cause of balding; since cost is a significant factor for you, you may just have to stick with finasteride. Propecia would be out of the question, since it's the most expensive way to get finasteride. Try to get your hands on Proscar (or a cheaper generic version); Proscar tablets consist of 5 mg doses of finasteride, and people on hairloss sites like this typically cut them into quarters (1.25 mg doses, in other words), and take a quarter tablet each day. Even when you use real Merck tablets, taking just a quarter of a Proscar tablet per day is a lot cheaper than taking a full Propecia tablet per day! :)

Finpecia is definitely legit. You can get it from inhousepharmacy.biz . Many people on this site have gotten it from inhouse and its legit. It'll only cost you about $25 for a 30 day supply. I just got my first order of finpecia in yesterday

About to order on Inhousepharmacy. As far as US shipping goes, there are two free options. One has tracking and signature required, the other one has neither. Im home at random times and probably wouldn't be around to sign for it. Ive had some companies for different stuff leave the package regardless. Im tempted to use the shipping that has no tracking, but worry that something shady will happen. Any advice?

Id just go for it. I've used inhouse many times to buy nizoral and finasteride and never had a problem. I used the tracking one but I don't think inhouse would have such a good reputation if they decided to rip people off who didn't. Its probably fine. Even if something happens, you've only waasted $20
