I moved on to the Walgreen's $40 4-pack and the foam has the same consistency, and smell, as rogaine which makes me feel comfortable. There's a couple minor ingredients that are changed except it is still 5% minoxidil. From everyone's else's expereinces, has generic foam been absorbed in the scalp just as well?

Just a little nervous about the switch.

Have to bump this. The foam I'm using contains neither glycerin or propolyen glycol (whatever it's name was) which both are considered vehicles. Without either of those, can the minoxidil still be as effective?

I can't find much info on the web.

Inactive ingredients: butane, butylated hydroxytoluene, cetyl alcohol, citric acid, denatured alcohol, isobutane,

lactic acid, polysorbate 60, propane, purified water, stearyl alcohol

Same ingredients for Kirkland's foam.

I've also noticed this. Instead of glycerine, which original foam has, the kirkland minoxidil foam has dehydrated alcohol.
