My pharmacy switched me to Dr. Reddy's generic finasteride and I was wondering if there was a greater chance for sexual side effects compared to Propecia? That is my main hesitation with the switch because as of now I wish I spent the extra $30 on Propecia for peace of mind so that's why I have come here.

Brand names and Generics have the exact same active ingredient which in this case is called Finasteride. Propecia is a brand name given by the inventor drug pharmaceutical; while Dr. Reddy's is generic by a pharma under the license to market the same drug.
