i'm just courious as to why they make the generic drugs, as if i go to the doctor, they only perscribe the branded stuff... so is the generic stuff only produced for us tight/cheap internet shoppers??
Generic versions of Propecia and Avodart are illegal to supply outside India, because the drugs are still protected by patent. Indian patent law allows local manufacturers to produce copies of Western medicines for the domestic market. The patent on Proscar has recently expired and 'legitimate' generic versions of this drug are now available around the world.
