Hi all.I have a few questions and am just looking for some advice about the basics.I'm a 36 year old male based in England and would say i'm around a Norwood grade 2.About a year ago i started taking 5mg finasteride for about 6 months.I found the results to be quite good.Hair felt a little thicker around the crown and the shedding became almost non existent.I moved to a different city with my job and have not been on finasteride for about 6/7 months now.I can feel my hair is thinner and have gone from leaving the odd hair in the bath to around 20/30! I need a boost and am looking for some advice about certain products.
I would like to use the finasteride 5mg again as i suffered no side effects and found the results to be quite good.I would also like to use a rogaine type product.With the Rogaine is foam or liquid the best one? Does it have any effect on the hairline or temple area? Quite often on the google searches the Kirkland version comes up.Is this any good or should it really be rogaine only?
With the finasteride 5mg is there a decent place to buy it from? My last purchase was made in USD from a website that looked like it was based in Canada.The actual delivery came from India.Just after i got it the TV started showing those warnings about buying pills from abroad and mentioned rat poison! Is there a safe place to buy it from? A few websites have proscar as quite a bit more expensive than a generic finasteride.Is it worth paying the difference or just a waste of money?
Lastly is there a decent shampoo and conditioner to use? I use an organic one to cut down on the chemicals but is there a decent one that helps? Sorry to ask so many questions of you.I am looking to start buying asap and keep what i have so any replies would be very helpful.
