Future Treatments And Eggheads (hair Lost By Extreme Miniaturization)

Hi,

I have a question for you.

What future treatments will work for those who have no hair on all the scalp (eggheads)?

I speak of course those who have a total diffuse on all the scalp, of which all the follicles have been extremely miniaturized. The extreme miniaturization of all follicles (without exception) is the worst nightmare because many futurs treatments will be not effective for this situation.

Many future treatments will work with healthy, thick follicles ... but many people have no healthy hair.

Hope for these people?

If yes, what future treatments can save them?

I have sorted out all the treatments that will not help eggheads and those I'm not sure about.

Don't work for eggheads:
-Surgical treatment (Hair transplant)
-Cloning treatment (Tsuji, Replicel, Hairclone, etc.)
-Topic treatment (minoxidil, etc.)
-Systemic treatment (Fina, Duta, etc.)

May be???:
-Jak inhibitors (Decernotinib?)
-Follica (create new follicles?)
-Histogen
-Other(s)?

Thank you!

Will that be the big deal? At least we know there´s science behind it, so let´s see ;)

Associate Professor of Dermatology Dr. Lu Le at UT Southwestern Medical Center said: “Although this project was started in an effort to understand how certain kinds of tumors form, we ended up learning why hair turns gray and discovering the identity of the cell that directly gives rise to hair.”

“With this knowledge, we hope in the future to create a topical compound or to safely deliver the necessary gene to hair follicles to correct these cosmetic problems.”

The breakthrough could one day lead to the creation of treatments for balding and graying. The study was published in the journal Genes and Development.

Slick bald NW5 and beyond you need cloning, Dr Cotsarelis said there was a limit with how much you can regrow with topicals (paraphrasing).

Yes, but the eggheads (total bald) are not on the Norwoods scale. These unlucky have no crown, so nothing to clone ... :(

But it will take an eternity before reaching the market, right?

Yeah, like DUPA.
Will it be a cure? Beard cloning is a solution to these species

Okay, I see your picture. Yes, it's a good exemple. But I speak above all of those who have nothing. Not even a crown of thin hair.

Yeah, like DUPA.

DUPA is a big nightmare.

In fact, my initial question may relate to all these types of hair loss:
-DUPA
-Total diffuse on all the scalp with extreme miniaturization of all follicles
-Norwood 7 with crown of thin hair (see Swoop's picture)

-------

Beard cloning? Are you sure? With Tsuji method? I think I read that it's not the same cells (beard and hair of head are not the same thing), but i'm not sure.

Wigs will be your only options for a lot of years. Maybe beard cloning as someone already mentioned.

This is actually my only option. I am 25 years old and my life is totally spoiled. I am completely paralyzed and tetanized by my situation and there is no hope in the short or medium term. I miss the most beautiful years of my life. It is a nightmare that does not want to end. The pain and shame is immeasurable...

It is interesting that mature hair, usually in older people, can grow singly on the nose or in the ear just out of the blue. What triggers this ectopic occurrence may be fertile ground for research on conversion of existing cells or modified stem cells on extreme hairloss people.

I don't know if people even exist that have literally zero hair?

Also, people with APKH such as myself are also fucked. Hair texture completely different from what it used to be (even at the lower part on the back of my head). So, they should clone normal healthy hair and thus create a new follicle to help those in your example and myself.

In my case, I guess it means that I could never have MY hair back. But if I could get back an aesthetic mane, then I don't care about anything anymore.

I never heard of APHK before. An interesting condition and only 25 cases reported in English literature as of 2016. The mysteries of hair may be as diverse as that of the cosmos.
