Fut Better Option Than Fue In 2019?

So, to my understanding, with an FUT:

• more grafts are likely to stick
• you leave yourself with a much thicker donor area for future transplants
• you will only ever have one strip scar, no matter how many surgeries you have

Other than the recovery time and the lack of a strip scar, what advantage is there to an FUE over an FUT? FUE still leaves you with scarring, but it's all over the back of your head instead of one thin line. It also limits your future transplant options versus FUT.

Or am I wrong - are there more pros and cons for each procedure that I'm not aware of?

Also, why does everyone hate the idea of an FUT scar? For one thing, the general population has no idea what a hair transplant scar looks like. For another, scars look badass.
