Fungal Infection Or Something Else Need Solution

Some background.I am a 24 year old male and asian. In my father's side no one is bald. In my mother's side my uncle is Norwood 4 at the age of 60. I do not lose much hair in normal days. Recently, I went to a barber and told him to do a side undercut. After finishing the job, he told me that, I have a fungal infection in my crown area and my hair is damaged. To cure that, I need to do some hair cleaning stuff in his saloon(which is very costly). I need to confirm from you guys that, whether I should go for it or there are some other methods to remove the fungus.

I also thought about that. But he told me in such a way that I was scared. The thing is that, i was never worried about hair loss previously.So, I don't have any past pictures to compare with. About nizoral or kitoconazole, i shall definitely buy one of those.

No he is not, but anyone is going to get panicked after hearing something like that, but i understood what you want to say.

You don’t have to do anything. No ketokozanole shampoos, no creams, nothing. If it doesn’t cause itch, if it doesn’t cause flaking, you’re fine. Plus the whole dermatitis thing is hormonal anyways. No shampoo would reverse it.
