I'm currently on .5mg finpecia daily + Nizoral 1% 2 times a week + Lasercomb EOD...yet I still seem to be losing hair in the front and in the temples. What is a good once a day or less topical application(or other type of application) I can use to help regrow/maintain my hair in the front? I am a diffuse thinner with coarse black hair.

I have to use that twice a day and I don't like the idea of being dependent on minoxidil.

dependent...you hair will become DEPENDENT to any treatment that works....finasteride, dutasteride, spironolactone, REVIVO, minoxidil...all of them will cause your hair to be dependant on them.

Revivogen?

I wouldn't go that far.[/quote:6284a]

What do you mean? What are you referring to in his post? The Revivo or minoxidil?

minoxidil...as a general rule 1x day = maintenance 2x day = regrowth...

however, there are some people who have re-grown on 1x day applications.

which is something different. I don't like the idea of being dependant on minoxidil either. finasteride is ok.

Nonsense. Revivogen is simply a dht blocker. It can be replaced whenever by another dht blocker and the hair that was maintained or regrown by revivogen will continue to be maintained. The hair you maintain or gain on minoxidil will fall out if the minoxidil is stopped.

Foam definitly, take as much time as tooth brushing, above all if you have short hairs.

Eddy has a good point. What's easier to apply....minoxidil foam or revivogen?

in the catagory of "easy to use", foam beats Revivogen by far.

Why is finasteride ok, but not minoxidil?

Minoxidil isn't ever going to become unavailable anyway, so there's no point in the first place in worrying about being "dependent" on it; but even then, the minoxidil could also be replaced by something similar like NANO, or proanthocyanidins, or whatever. I really don't think you even have a point here.
