Frontal Thinning 8 Years After Starting finasteride

I just noticed some thinning around my forelock around 8 years after starting finasteride. I am just wondering what my best course of action here on might be, so veterans, your help would be much appreciated.

I've been contemplating switching from finasteride to Avodart because I've heard Avodart is stronger and more impactful. The thinning in the front is very minor, so I am hoping that if I catch it early, I might still be able to maintain most of it. Long-term, obviously an hair transplant is a possibility, but I am definitely not there quite yet.

Thanks in advance

Wow I'm sorry I have no advice whatsoever but I had no idea hairloss medications were a permanent fix I thought I'd be bald after 2 years with medication but it's helped you for almost a decade

Can you post a pic of your hair? Easier to evaluate.
Generally I've heard that people hop on duta but I don't know how safe that is in regards to health

I would either switch to dutasteride or add in minoxidil

If finasteride or dutasteride work they have the potential to work for decades. Its all about the luck of the draw.
