I am losing faith. i continue to search for help, even though its fairly obvious i can't stop it.
Through Finasteride and dutasteride, my scalp has become sensitive. i dunno if it those meds messed with my gut or liver, but its certainly created an inflammation sensitivity for my scalp, meaning i can't use any topicals or take any anti-androgens.
I have tried lowering my testosterone through various means and it usually kicks starts a bad receding itch. and if i say not masturbate for a long period... sometimes it helps the itch... but i gather testosterone continues to thin out my hair either way.
I don't know whats left. does anyone have any ideas? scalp massaging makes my receding hair areas itch. roller needling also creates an itch. i feel like everything that should help just makes my scalp recede faster
I have only found 2 shampoos that calm my scalp down abit, one is Nioxin 2 and the other is called cystipane, which has zinc pca and B6 in it. but they don't help the hair loss.
