Thank you for your honest reply. What kind of doctor should I go see? A plain old regular doctor at a clinic or a dermatologist?

A derm I went to a family Doctor they know nothing about hairloss the only reason I went to a doctor because they had a 3 mouth wait to see a derm

This is my hairline and I'm 28 years old you can compare it to yours my hairline has stayed the same the past 6 mouths I get an itchy scalp and I loss about 30 hairs in the shower but it still looks thick and everyone in my family think I'm going crazy talking about my hairloss all the time

To be perfectly honest, no. I know side effects are not guaranteed but I think I'm at the point that if I can't style my hair properly anymore, I will just shave it off. To be honest this has been a real problem for me. My gf doesn't want to hear anything about it, says I'm not balding and to "stop overreacting" but my hair has always been the asset I've loved the most. Giving it away will be a shock but life goes on right?
You survived 5 more years than me with that I envy you... HAHA. I'm dreading to think about what my hair will look like at 28-30. My dad has a Norwood 3, 3.5 at 57. If I'm able to pull that off I would be extremely happy lol. But your hair is extremely thick has well. Hopefully it's a very slow recession!

Wow I just checked some of these out and they look pretty awesome! Hopefully there's is some kind of treatment or cure in 10ish years. Science is rapidly progressing. If not oh well haha.
To be honest I read stuff on it too and it's a hit or miss. A bunch of guys don't have any secondary sexual effects. So you can give it a shot if you want! It's your decision and not your family's. If you want to try it go ahead, I heard that it is very good to maintain, especially when you have thick hair. I'm just not willing to not know if the side effects will kick in or not. I have a bit of an obsessive personality and I'm probably gunna freak about getting those side effects lol. Plus I have been with my girlfriend with 6 years now and that plays in my decision not to go on it as well.
