For Those Who Have Had Sexual Side Effects From Minoxidil

I started using minoxidil and after about a week I noticed a numbness in my penis. Has anyone else had this? Is it something that will go away after the body adjusts or only if I stop using it. It's been about 3 weeks total. I've been using it once a day.

There are occasional claims of minoxidil either enhancing or inhibiting penile function. They have not been confirmed by empirical data, where medical researchers have done investigations of mediocre quality.

Well I've done a 3 week study of my own and the results are i have a numb dick when I use it. So if this has happened to any one else or any other side effects I'd like to know if they go away with continual use or not. Thanks for the reply though.

Minoxidil has also been argued to enhance erectile function.

We shouldn't be surprised at the possibility of rare side effects.

Yeah I never even gave sexual side effects a thought when I first started it but after a week or so a I started to feel a numbness. I'd like to think it's all in my head but I've never been a person to ever have sides from any kind of medication.
