Found this from one of your old posts:

"
I can not see a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor stopping the process or even totally inhibiting it unless that particular person is born with an androgen receptor that has the fewest triplet repeats. For some reason, people with a smaller gene defect have fewer downstream effects and thus their hair loss responds to treatment better. "

Do you suggest that people seeing results from 5-ar inhibitors add internal turmeric extract and vitamin e to their regimen? would internal dutasteride, internal turmeric extract(same amount you take or once did) and 200 IU internal vitamin e(all three daily) be enough to stop the balding process almost completely in your opinion?

thanks.

I don't really have a comment. The link between the genetic defect that causes male pattern baldness and the male pattern baldness process is not even close to being discovered. There definitely is a link between male pattern baldness and perifollicular fibrosis. Some people even have a mild lymphocytic infiltrate. However, there is no evidence for spongiosis, edema in the dermis, or other epidermal changes besides the hair follicle itself moving from the dermis into the epidermis where there really isn't any blood flow whatsoever.

I'm taking curcumin, but I don't recommend it for other people. I don't recommend any pharcon or drug besides what a licensed professional can provide you.

You can achieve toxicity with any fat soluble vitamin including Vitamin E.

As for toxicity with curcumin, no, there have been no reports of toxicity even with doses that are in the thousands of milligrams.
